In this project, we aim to explore the possibility of manufacturing environmentally friendly biopolymeric microparticles that will promote self-healing in both concrete and asphalt materials. Utilising naturally available and affordable polymers we aim to produce a variety of microparticles that will be of very low risk when used in bulk quantities.
